FUNCTION/PURPOSE:
The Human Resource Officer will be primarily responsible for conducting full cycle recruitment and supporting the transition to a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), as well as providing support to other HR initiatives.
POSITION DURATION: 6 months with the possibility of the position becoming full time.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct full cycle recruiting and employ creative recruiting techniques including internet ad placement and resume searches, referrals, networking and cold calling/direct sourcing of passive candidates; support internal programs related to recruiting.
• Ensure all pre-hire processes and documentation including but not limited to interview feedback documentation, background check and references, equipment and facility/office requests, data entry and other forms are completed in a timely manner.
• Uphold compliance with all legal and professional standards and ensure they are followed during the entire recruitment process (requisition through hiring).
• Support the organization’s transition to the ClearCompany Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Support the implementation and launch of the ClearCompany ATS in line with IFES’ organizational needs and established timelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in HumanResources, Business Administration or related field. HR certification (PHR,SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of work experience with recruitment/talent acquisition in a fast-pace environmentrequired. Experience with ATS systems. Experience with ClearCompany ATS highly desirable. Experience in proposal recruiting, international recruiting highly desirable. Experience in an international NGO context highly desired.
Related Skills or Knowledge: Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret business documents in varying circumstances. High degree of attention to detail and excellent organization skills;proficient at handling high volumes of work and multi-tasking; high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excelrequired.
Language Skills: English required.
